Transformation

Unbelievably, the 2017 One Step Course has completed its first three weeks.

This is the second year for Next Generation Ministries to host a group of international young men and women in the 12 week, residential, intercultural, mentoring course.

The initial effort last Fall yielded results that exceeded any expectations.  Lives were changed in ways that provided foundations for building successful futures.  After all, One Step is just one step.  But the course intends for it to be such a significant step that beneficial harvesting from it will go on for years and years.

Because the course takes place in the Uganda, the Pearl of Africa, those who enroll are mostly from Uganda and Congo.  However, recruiting is also done from other nations, primarily America.  As a fledgling newborn, One Step and NGM depends on their friends and supporters to help recruit students.

This year, four students had to be turned away on the first day of intake.  Space is limited to 20 beds.  It's time to get next year's students to seriously consider enrolling.

Here is what one of last year's graduates says about her experience last year.

Adrine is just one of many enrolled last year who could recount significant changes God made in their life over the 12 week period of living together with the directors of Next Generation Ministries.

One of the passions the Hunters have embedded in their hearts is to do all they can to increase the options of the next generation of Africans in the nation of Uganda.  So many young adults, their age, in America have the resources to pay airfare and tuition for this mentoring course.  Few Africans have this option.

If you are reading this, would you prayerfully consider making a donation to the One Step Scholarship Fund?  Every bed is fill this year and we want to be selective of whose applications are accepted in 2018.

Please send your donation to NGM - One Step Scholarship, 29940 South Dhooghe Rd, Colton, OR 97017.  Be a part of increasing the options for some of the next students who will be given the skills to live life successfully and make a difference in the world.
